We are nearing the completion of our new Salamander tank, so are starting to think about what plants to use.

Is there any plants that sals seem to love? So far we have got a bromeliad and some inch plant to go in there, but it would be nice to have some hanging plants too.

Can I use normal ivy as a backdrop for salamander set up?

They are just fires (bernadezi ones), but we've planted the tank up now.

Need to get some pics up to show you soon

What sort of salamanders are you getting? I can recommend plants for both temperate, cool temperate, and tropical.
