I got a couple of newts months ago and one died. Now the one I have won't eat. He used to eat both blood worms and earthworms at the beginning. Now nothing. I bought some new blood words a few days ago and didn't eat them. I got earthworms today and didn't eat them either. I even chopped them so he would be able to eat them without chocking on them or something and still didn't eat them. Its so skinny I'm afraid it might died. Its been months since it last ate something I'm surprise its still alive.
I searched for info on whether or not fire belly newts eat during winter but found nothing.
