Hi there,
I have been on various sites and there is differing opinions on whether axys need companionship or not. I will be getting an adult axy soon and I want to know whether she needs company or not. I would like to here what people think on this. Thanks.

There is conflicting advice on this. I would say it's down to personal choice, because it really is up to what you feel is best.

Axies are quite curious creatures and seem to appreciate a bit of interest and entertainment in their tanks, so a companion can provide this. But, then they can also occassionally be aggressive towards eachother and limbs/gills can be lost in axie fights.

I have heard of good arguments for both sides, so it's down to you to decide.

I currently keep my axies together, but I am monitoring them closely on a daily basis and am ready to seperate if any problems arise.
