Anyone tried feeding their animals Phoenix Worms?
A friend recommended them to me and they sound great.

I emailed Albin with a general quiery and he replied quickly and was very helpful.
I ordered a tub of Small and Medium.
They arrived real quick and were packaged real well.
Unfortunatly the worms are a lot smaller than I expected so im going to try to grow them on a bit.
I will give some to the mossies, and let you know what they think.

I've tried Calci Grubs which look like the same thing... just a different name, Cliff and Richard weren't that bothered about them, I'll be getting someone at the Doncaster show in June to try The Mighty Alberto on, but I wouldn't order online just because the delivery price is nearly as much as the worms themselves.
They tend to stay pretty small and eventually pupae like maggots.
Calcium wise it's probably much cheaper just to dust other foods with a good supplement, but as always with an amphibian variation in diet is good!  I'll have a look at Roachshop though... if they're any good I'll buy some food from them.

Post Away Spend day... as long as it's useful that's our only rule on here 
I've heard if you pierce them first they should be okay, same with maggots and mealies. Still would be nice to see your post |

the people who "make" them say its a good idea to pin them first. but i have to say i wouldnt rule out andrews (pollywogs) observasion but then again i would probably believe anything he says lol

Thanks for that Spend day - I too would probably believe Pollywogs answer on there as well . The ones I got were from Doncaster Show last year and I bought them off andrew's table (although they were Calci-Grubs), Cliff and Richard didn't take them as easy as they do crickets etc, they didn't seem as eager, but the ones they ate past fine without problem. I had to throw a load as they pupated. Was going to try a culture but nothing came out... after a month or two I chucked them
